Peter Holler (GER) - FEI 5*
Born in the South German university city of Freiburg in the Black Forest I started riding at an early age in a local riding club near Koblenz on the river Rhine . After several years learning to ride on the club owned school horses, I got my first own horse and eventually began competing in all three disciplines (Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing). In the following years I was successful with different horses in dressage competitions (in Europe and in the US ) up to Grand Prix Level and also in show jumping classes up to 1,60 m. I then concentrated more and more on dressage and trained with some of the best known German trainers such as Dr. Klimke, Harry Boldt, Udo Lange, Herbert Krug, Werner Bergmann, Gerhard Politz, Maria Günther and Manfred Bröker. After obtaining my degrees in Economics and Law I discontinued my active showing career and devoted some of my time to passing the FN exam as a riding instructor. I now run a Public Relations business and in my spare time I train several riders, among them Susanne Lebek, a former gold medallist in the European Championships of Young Riders and currently a very successful International Grand Prix rider (ranked under the top 40 in the world and winner of GP/GPS at the CDI***s and CDIOs in Munich (GER), Hickstead (UK) and Saumur (FRA). Previously I also trained her sister Barbara who was a member of the Austrian Team at the European Dressage Championships. In 2011 I became a member of the FEI list of Official judges (status 5*) and in the last several years have judged many important shows in Germany and all over the world such as the German Championships, Bundeschampionate, World Championships for Young Horses, European Championships for Juniors and Young Riders, CDIOs and CDI***s like Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Oldenburg, Saumur, Vejer de la Fronteira, Lipica, Minsk, Dortmund etc. I was a judge in the Challenge Tour in the last years with shows/clinics in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Dubai, Romania, Kazachstan) and went as a clinician and trainer to Central America, Indonesia, Belarus, South Africa and many other countries.
